Welcome to Lorane Oregon (population 389).
Today the Lorane area is home to award winning wineries, talented local artists, and classic bed and breakfasts. Lorane, like many small towns, was named after its post office, which was originally established in 1887. Several historic buildings remain from those early days including a church, school, Odd Fellows hall, and an old time grange hall. Be sure not to miss Siuslaw Falls when you're in the area, as it's only 12 miles west of Lorane, on Siuslaw Road.
